Today Benjamin turns 8 years old. He had some friends over Saturday evening for a boys only party. He had a great time. Benjamin loves science, math, video games, star wars legos, his brother and sisters and playing with his friends. He has grown up so much and is so independent. It does get a little easier the older they get. I can't believe how fast time flies. We love him very much. He is a great big brother. In November Benjamin will be Baptized, he is so excited. His Grandma and Grandpa Phillips are going to get him his own set of scriptures, he is so excited about that. Today I took him to Sonic during lunch time and we had a great time together sitting in the car eating our lunch, just the two of us.
Here is a picture of Benjamin and his exploding soda. Michael gave the boys there own 2 liter of soda and some Mentos and this is what happened.

That's AWESOME!!! I didn't know that could happen with Mentos. Hmmm, would Pop Rocks do the same thing???
How exciting to get baptized! Is he going to be the first grandchild baptized or did someone else be him to it? What a wonderful time eitherway. =)
i saw that on tv once it was really cool. i bet it was fun to see it in person.
